We are currently recruiting for the following specific roles:
Cookery Volunteer Do you have skills in cooking a range of different foods? Would you like to share your skills and knowledge to help young people develop crucial life skills including planning, preparing and cooking to a budget and developing their understanding of the importance of a healthy and nutritious diet? Could you act as a catalyst to bring young people together to share and experience different foods? We are looking for a cookery volunteer to share their knowledge, kitchen expertise and passion for food with young people.
Cycling Safety Volunteer Do you have cycling and bike maintenance skills and experience? We are looking for a volunteer who can give our young people cycling proficiency training, so that they can cycle safely on local roads, together with support with regular cycle maintenance, and teaching young people how to carry out routine maintenance for themselves, e.g. puncture repair, etc.
Sports Do you have a passion for sports activities? You might play football, basketball, be an experienced runner, boxer or involved in other sports. Would you like to share your passion for sports, health and fitness with others by facilitating regular sporting activities with young people in groups and on a one-to-one basis?
